Today is Beyoncé and Jay-Z's day in the state of Minnesota, USA. US State Governor Mark Dayton has proclaimed that August 9 is officially 'Beyoncé and Jay-Z Day'.

The act, officially recorded, is based on the fact that the two artists performed a concert of the tour "On The Run II Tour" this Wednesday, the 8th in Minneapolis.

According to the governor, the singer and her husband left "thousands of people of the region" expectant with the show and, therefore, they deserved this homage.
